The Vanderbilt Assessment Scale is a questionnaire used to help evaluate symptoms of ADHD in children. Because it looks at behavior in more than one setting, we ask both a parent and a teacher to complete their own version. Your care team will let you know if these forms are needed for your child.

ESE Mental Health is a Georgia-based teletherapy provider helping children, parents, and other adults access compassionate mental health care. Our work began around a clear purpose: removing barriers between children and the support they need.

Our mission is simple: remove the barriers that stand between a child and the mental health support they need.
For many families, getting help can mean finding transportation, taking time away from work, navigating costs, or searching for an available provider. ESE works with schools and families to make that first step easier and help students stay connected to care.
ESE connects students, parents, and other adults with licensed mental health clinicians through virtual appointments. Our role is to make reaching out feel possible and help people take the next step.
Families, schools, and clinicians each play a part in helping children feel supported. ESE brings these relationships together around a shared purpose: giving children the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

By helping children access care, build coping skills, and develop trusting relationships, ESE works toward a future where asking for help is easier and support is within reach.
ESE Mental Health provides virtual care with licensed, experienced clinicians who lead with compassion, understanding, and a client-centered approach.
Our goal is simple: help people feel supported, make progress, and live life more fully. Services are available to students, parents, and other adults; our team can discuss the care options appropriate for you.
One-on-one virtual therapy gives each person space to talk openly, work through challenges, and build practical tools with a licensed clinician.
Group sessions create a supportive space for people facing similar challenges to learn, connect, and grow together.
When appropriate, medication management can be part of a broader care plan and coordinated alongside therapy.
Urgent behavioral health needs require timely support. ESE provides crisis intervention within the scope of its services and care model.
Progress that supports well-being, school participation, and personal goals.
Patients experience improvements in anxiety and depression during the program, supported by consistent access to care.
Average reduction in student absences after joining the program—helping students stay connected to school.
Patients complete treatment goals with ongoing support. Continuity with the same therapist helps care move forward.
Figures and outcome categories reproduced from ESE Mental Health’s original website.
We work to keep people with the same therapist consistently whenever possible. That continuity helps build trust and lets care move forward without repeatedly starting over.
Virtual care helps remove travel and scheduling barriers while keeping professional support within reach. Reach out when you need support or want to understand your options. Appointments are scheduled with ESE; confirm availability for your location and choose a quiet, private space for your session.
Bring a coordinated virtual mental health program to your district, with implementation, technology, and ongoing support from ESE.
Students connect with licensed clinicians, including bilingual providers when available. For the types of treatment offered and our approach to therapist continuity, visit Services.
ESE provides and manages secure, session-ready school equipment.
Training, 24/7 tech support, and ongoing district help are included.
Customized communication, social media campaigns, and the ESE Ambassador Program help families learn about available care.
Transportation challenges, financial limitations, scheduling conflicts, staffing shortages, stigma, and funding gaps can stand between students and the support they need. ESE works with school partners to address those barriers and keep care accessible over time.
ESE has built a model designed to become self-sustainable with utilization over time, which will continue to provide care, even if state grant funding fluctuates.
ESE supports uninsured students through district-specific indigent care funds and has secured private funding to help serve K–5 students. Funding availability and eligibility depend on the district program.
Treatment continues during summer and holiday breaks. Students can connect through an internet-connected device at school, at home, or while on break.
ESE manages scheduling, documentation, follow-up, and care coordination so school counselors and staff can focus on supporting students.
Parents can contact ESE about confidential care for their own well-being, separately from seeking support for their child.
Whether you’re a parent seeking confidential help for yourself, looking for care for your child, or exploring a school partnership, reach out to the ESE team. We can explain services, costs, appointment availability, and how to connect from your location.
